COBRA (NP8030)

This Hand Puppet is 60 inches long from tip of split tongue to tip of thrashing tail. It takes a single finger to operate the tail but to operate the jaws requires fingers smaller than an adult male. RATTLESNAKE (2893)

Rattlesnakes are a group of snakes that belong to the subfamily of venomous snakes known as Crotalinae (pit vipers). They receive their name for the rattle located at the end of their tails. The rattle is used as a warning device when threatened. Rattlesnakes are native to the Americas, with the large majority of them in the American Southwest and Mexico. The state of Arizona in particular has more than any other state... but you don't need to go there to get one. Our Hand Puppet Rattlesnake is 4 inches tall and 9 inches long (when curled up and ready to strike). Uncurled, he is 36 inches long but you may not want to do that because he does have a movable mouth. Click on picture for a larger more detailed image.
